1969 Hurst Olds
This 1969 Hurst produces 380 hp. It has a unique engine that is combined with Hurst Olds’ famous dual/gate shifter. 906 of these models were made, but only 3 of them were convertibles. They’re remembered for their golden stripes and pure white sheen. This car is selling around $94,000 today.
1970 Pontiac GTO The Judge
This car screams style when you look at it. Just six of these cars were automatics with Ram Air IV engines. This car is extremely hard to find today, making it a collector’s item. These cars were put out of production in 1971. This muscle car is on the market for upwards of $219,000 today.
1971 Plymouth Hemi ’Cuda
This beauty is one of the rarest of all on the list as only 11 of them exist. The 425 hp car with a Hemi V8 engine was sold for $3.5 million in 1971. This makes it the most expensive muscle car ever sold. The Hemi ‘Cuda is selling anywhere between $1.2 million and $890,000 today.
1967 and 1970 Dodge Coronet R/T Hemi
Five of these bad boys exist. The rarest ones has a 425 hp engine. The price tag was pushed up to luxury numbers because of this engine. This car is going for around $150,000.
1970 Buick G S Stage 1 (3- Speed Manual)
As far as anyone knows, there is only one Buick GS Stage 1. The car is a 360 horsepower beast. It is a rare muscle car that can produce 510 lb-ft of torque selling for around $109,000.
1967 Shelby GT500
The Shelby Mustang is pure class, selling for around $200,000. And there really is no other vehicle like it. Only one exists. It was recently restored to its former glory. It rests in Ford’s corporate B-Lot.
1969 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am
Just 8 were ordered. All of them were fitted with a Ram Air III V8 Engine. 345 hp each and four of them were automatic. Seven have been accounted for, but the last one is a mystery. You can expect to pay around $135,000 for this car.
1970 Plymouth Road Runner R-Code Hemi
The only 4 that were made are things of beauty. They had 400 hp and were built for pure muscle. One went over to Canada and the other three stayed in the US. If you want this car, you’ll have to pay upwards of $70,000.
1960 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster
At least 3 were produced. No one knows if there are more. These muscle car convertibles are as rare as they come. One was sold for $3.2 million in 2013, but you can find them on the market now for $70,000.
1968 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28
Only 1 was ever produced. This was the executive car. It went to the GM chief Pete Estes and was a cool Dark Fathom Green. It had 4-wheel disc brakes and performance suspension installed. Right now, it’s owned by Dana Mecum. This car is priced up to $89,000.
