2019 has been a great year for vehicle sales. Here’s a list of THE TOP selling cars, trucks and SUV’s of 2019:
21. Hyundai Elantra
Selling 84,971 units so far, the Elantra has improved fuel economy from last year.
20. Subaru Forester
It has sold 86,219 units. That’s a 9% increase from last year.
19. Ford Explorer
At 88,680 units sold, it has dropped 20% in sales from last year. However, it’s still in the 25 best selling cars of 2019.
18. Ford Fusion
Though it has been discontinued by Ford, the Fusion will stick around. Its 96,351 units sold ensure that.
17. Jeep Cherokee
This stands out in the Jeep lineup, the 97,210 units sold are a testament to that. However, its numbers are down by 15% since last year.
16. GMC Sierra
Though the lineup is in the middle of an overhaul, the sales for this model are up by 0.5% with 97,403 units sold.
15. Nissan Sentra
This is Nissan’s top-selling car. The Sentra has sold 109,899 units so far in 2019.
14. Toyota Highlander
The 3-Row SUV has sold 3% fewer units this year than in 2018. However, it has still sold 111,183 units.
13. Jeep Wrangler
Though its numbers are down by 12% this year, the Jeep Wrangler has still sold 116,985 units.
12. Toyota Tacoma
Toyota Tacoma’s sales are up by 5% this year. It’s one of the bestselling trucks 121,866 units sold.
11. Honda Accord
The Accord is iconic for Honda. And it keeps proving that this year, with 129,435 units sold.
10. Ford Escape
The Ford Escape has sold 133,100 units so far this year. However, its sales are down by 8%.
9. Toyota Corolla
The best selling car in history obviously is on this list with 152,868 units sold in 2019. Even so, its numbers are down by 5% since last year.
8. Honda Civic
Another winner from Honda, this has sold 169,172 units so far this year. It has widened the gap on Corolla and is becoming more popular.
7. Chevrolet Equinox
The Equinox’s sales are up 11%. It has sold 174,157 units so far.
6. Nissan Rogue and Rogue Sport
These vehicles’ sales have suffered by 19%. Yet they’re still on this list with 175,267 units sold.
5. Toyota Camry
The Camry has sold 176,008 units this year. However, its sales are down by 2%.
4. Honda CR-V
Though its numbers are down by 1.5%, it has sold 176,944 units.
3. Toyota RAV 4
This was the number two car in the US last year. Sales have dropped by 9% to 256,777 units sold.
2. Ram Pickup
The Ram pickup is one of the best selling trucks in the US. 299,480 units have been sold so far.
1. Ford F-Series
The best selling vehicle in the US is the Ford F-Series. With a whopping 448,398 units sold, it takes the top spot by a mile.
