Hub Assembly
The hub assembly is responsible for connecting the suspension knuckle to the wheel on each of the four wheels and knuckles. The complete hub assembly includes the mounting hub, rotor, wheel bearing, and seal. The hub assembly is also connected to the drive shaft.
Signs of a bad hub assembly
If you experience any grinding noises coming from the wheels while driving or turning, it’s possible that one or more bearings have failed and the hub assembly will need to be examined.
