What is CarAdvise?

CarAdvise is a platform that connects customers with the best car repair and maintenance services near them. We offer an easy-to-use app that allows customers to compare prices and book appointments at discounted rates.

How does CarAdvise work?

CarAdvise works as a middleman between customers and repair shops. Customers can search for shops near them, compare prices, and book appointments through our app. Once the customer is at the shop, they receive a text to approve work to begin on their vehicle. After the service is complete, the payment goes through our app and you’re on your way!

Is CarAdvise free to join?

Yes! Our basic membership is completely free. We also offer premium and elite memberships for a low monthly cost. To learn more about our paid memberships, please visit the my account section in the CarAdvise mobile app.

Does CarAdvise have paid memberships?

At CarAdvise, we offer 2 paid membership tiers; Premium, and Elite. These are tailored to cater to a range of needs and preferences of our members. Please see our Membership FAQ for more info.

What types of services does CarAdvise offer?

We offer a wide range of over 400 services through our mobile app and caradvise.com. This includes routine maintenance such as oil changes, wheel alignments, and brake pad replacements. We also offer repairs such as flat tire repairs and glass repairs.

How can I find a shop near me?

You can use our app to search for shops near you by enabling your location services or entering your zip code/location.

Can I book an appointment through CarAdvise?

Yes, you can book an appointment through our app. Simply select the service you need, choose a time and date, and confirm your booking.

Can I pay for services through CarAdvise?

Yes, you can pay for your maintenance and repairs through our app. We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Affirm monthly payments!

What shops do you work with?

CarAdvise currently works with Firestone, Pep Boys, Goodyear, Valvoline, AAMCO, NTB, Jiffy Lube, Meineke, CarX and more! We work with over 27,000 shops nationwide!

How do I add vehicles to my account?

To add a vehicle, simply select the car icon on the app, click the plus sign, scan or enter your VIN, enter your license plate, or manually enter all your vehicle information. Follow the prompts and click “Add Vehicle” to complete.

I need new brakes / I'm having brake problems

We definitely want to make sure your brakes are fixed right away to avoid any safety issues. If you know that you need new brake pads or rotors and want to schedule service, simply search for the service you need and book the appointment. If you would like an inspection or have any other questions, please reach out to our ASE Certified Techs at (844) 923-8473.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes! Appointments are recommended but not required to experience the benefits of CarAdvise. Just be sure to show your membership card at the shop before they begin work on your vehicle so you get the CarAdvise discount and ability to approve maintenance on your vehicle. Please note, you may experience longer wait times depending on the availability at the shop.

What is your cancellation policy?

We know life is unpredictable and if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment – no worries! We promise there’s never any penalty for missed appointments. Simply go to your account, select the appointment you wish to cancel and follow the prompts.

Can I reschedule an appointment I made through CarAdvise?

Absolutely. Click the reschedule link from the text you received or go to your account and follow the steps to schedule your appointment.

I need body work on my vehicle

We currently do not offer this service through our app. Please check back soon as we are working on adding this feature to our app!

I need new tires

Please schedule a tire installation through our app to receive the CarAdvise discount on tires at any of our eligible locations.
