CarAdvise Membership FAQ
At CarAdvise, we offer three main membership tiers – Basic, Premium, and Elite. These are tailored to cater to a range of needs and preferences of our members.
With the Premium membership at $2.99 per month, you’ll enjoy:
- All features included in the Basic plan.
- An additional 10% discount on services.
- Coverage for up to 3 vehicles under a single account.
An additional 10% off” means that on top of any existing discounts or promotions you may receive as a basic member, you will get an extra 10% discount on services or products. This ensures even greater savings for our Premium and Elite members. For instance, if a service is already discounted by 20%, with the additional 10% off, your total discount would be 30% off the original price
The Elite membership, priced at $6.99 per month billed annually, offers everything included in the Premium membership, plus:
- Roadside Assistance powered by Urgently, ensuring you’re never left stranded.
- Extended coverage for up to 5 vehicles under a single account.
Yes, the Elite membership encompasses everything from the Basic membership in addition to its exclusive features.
Under the Premium membership, you can manage up to 3 vehicles. With the Elite membership, you can manage up to 5 vehicles under one account.
The Roadside Assistance in our Elite membership is a comprehensive service provided in partnership with Urgent.ly Inc., through its subsidiary Roadside Innovation Inc. Upon enrolling in the Elite membership, you’ll receive these benefits starting five (5) days after enrollment. Here are the main features:
Emergency Roadside Assistance:
- Vehicle Towing: Up to 10 miles. Expenses beyond the 10-mile limit will be your responsibility, payable to Urgent.ly, Inc.
- Flat Tire: Assistance to change a flat tire with your inflated spare. Towing may be required if no spare is available, subject to towing conditions.
- Jump Start or Minor Roadside Adjustments: Assistance to jump-start a dead battery or other minor adjustments. More extensive repairs are your responsibility.
- Lockout: Assistance if you’re locked out of your vehicle. Proof of vehicle ownership is required. Towing might be needed if lockout services are unsuccessful.
- Fuel Delivery: Up to 2 gallons of fuel if your vehicle runs out. If this does not solve the issue, towing might be required.
- Winching: Assistance if your vehicle is stuck within 100 feet from a roadway, up to a $100 service limit. Additional services after winching are considered a second event.
- General Reimbursement: Up to specific limits for various services if Urgent.ly, Inc. cannot provide timely service. You must first contact Urgent.ly, Inc. and provide the necessary documentation for reimbursement.
Legal Defense Fees: Reimbursement up to $150 for your defense related to traffic tickets, limited to once during your annual subscription.
Auto Theft Reward: A reward of $1,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone who steals your vehicle. This does not cover vandalism or stolen contents and is limited to once during your annual subscription period.
It’s essential to note that the account holder is entitled to two (2) service events per original subscription year. If the same issue arises twice in a consecutive seven (7)-day period, service will only be provided for one event. Should you exhaust your annual service events, Urgent.ly will offer service for an additional fee. Also, certain services have dollar amount caps specific to that service.
For any reimbursement requests, ensure they are postmarked within 90 days after the event date and occurred during your membership period. Address all claims and documents to: Roadside Innovation Inc., Attn: CarAdvise Elite Plan, 8609 Westwood Center Drive, Suite 475, Vienna VA 22182.
Always remember, for any roadside service, the vehicle owner or an authorized driver must be present and show a valid photo ID
Upgrading or switching between membership plans is straightforward. Simply log into your CarAdvise account, head over to ‘My Account’ and select ‘Account Tier’. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.
There are no long-term contracts with CarAdvise memberships. You have the flexibility to cancel your subscription at any time.
Yes, you can switch between membership tiers based on your needs. Simply log in to your account and navigate to the membership options to make the change.
Membership fees for Premium are charged on a monthly basis while Elite membership is billed annually.
