Power Steering Fluid
Power steering fluid, also known as hydraulic fluid, plays an integral part in your vehicle’s power steering system. It is released by the power steering pump where it travels to the steering gear. The fluid is stored in a special reservoir towards the front of your vehicle. Like most other vehicle fluids, power steering fluid should be flushed from time to time to remove any dirt or grime it picks up.
